Level: This event is an introductory level aimed at those with no experience in officiating and are unsure of which pathway they would like to take.
Training covered: Referee & Technical Official

*There may be an opportunity to assist at the Hibari Kan Junior Open the following day after this training*

There are various ways to be involved in Judo without with competing. Technical officials cover a number of different disciplines to ensure the smooth running of all levels of competition.

Volunteering is an ideal way to get involved in Judo, develop new skills and stay engaged in the sport. By becoming part of the JudoScotland volunteer workforce you can choose which pathway suits you best. Every club needs a good team around them so why not come along to our next Introduction to Officiating course and start your journey.

JudoScotland have organised a number of courses around the country and throughout the year with the added opportunity of assisting at an event the following day. The course is designed to give you all the information you need regardless of which pathway you choose.
