Insurance Information

Members of JudoScotland are covered by public liability and personal accident insurance as follows:

Personal Accident:

• Death - £5,000
• Disablement and loss of 2 or more limbs or both eyes or one of each - £50,000
• Permanent total disablement £50,000
• Hospitalization £25/day up to 52 weeks
• Emergency dental £750
• Broken bones £200 (arm/Collarbone)
• Broken bones £300 (leg)
• Excess in respect of each and every claim of damage to property - £250

Members are recommended to take out further insurance if their earnings depend upon their physical ability to carry out job tasks e.g would a broken arm or leg prevent you driving?

Other insurance:

Members are protected by Civil and Public Liability Insurance should he/she cause injury or financial loss to a fellow member or damage to property whilst participating in judo activities and as a consequence have a claim made against them.
