National Training Centre

Background information

The National Training centre operates as the home of elite athlete training for Judo within Scotland.

The Centre was established with financial assistance from JudoScotland and SportScotland with support from the Scottish Institute of Sport. This investment has enabled JudoScotland to develop a facility suitable for elite performance training. The Dojo has been fitted with equipment of the highest quality including a changing room and a medical room.

The National Training centre benefits from the excellent provision for sport and leisure provided by the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena - Ratho. The centre has changing, shower facilities, Spa, Gym, cafe area, function and office suites and use of support staff.

The facility is therefore safe, modern and suitable for a range of martial art, sport and recreational activities.

Rental Rates

The National Training Centre is available for hire at the following rates. JudoScotland operate a policy of reduced rate hire for all affiliated clubs and individual members.

Preferential rates are also available for recognised Sports Governing Bodies.
