2019 Coaching, Officiating and Volunteering Awards Winners Announcement

From your club parent helper, to an area referee, right up to performance coaches; volunteers, officials and coaches are the lifeblood of our sport, without whom things would look very different. The JudoScotland Coaching, Officiating and Volunteering Awards are our way of showing our thanks and appreciation for their continued hard work throughout the year.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the nominations and show your appreciation for a coach, volunteer or official. 

We are delighted to announce this year's winners:

Young Volunteer of the Year – Jasmin Willingale (Dumfries Judo Academy)
Volunteer of the Year – Craig Ross (Randori Judo)
Lifetime Achievement in Volunteering Award – Thomas Brown (Milton Judo Club)
Technical Official of the Year – Andrew McWatt (Clyde JC)
Young Coach – David Scobbie (Tayside)
Young Person’s Coach of the Year – Jack Smith (Tanoshii JC)
Community Coach of the Year – Alexander Reid (Shettleston JC)
Disability Coach of the Year – John D’Ambrosio (Hamilton)
Lifetime Achievement in Coaching Award – John Barrington (Randori JC)
