Successful Nage-No-Kata Session

On Saturday the 4^th of August, JudoScotland successfully ran a Nage-No-Kata course at Glenrothes Judo Club.  Alex Reid and Paul Laverty were the instructors for the day and proved to be true masters of their craft. 

The course broke down the different parts of the kata, explained the principles of judo and revealed the importance of Kata within the club. Judoka left with a knowledge of ‘why we were doing things a certain way’.

Paul McGuinness, course organiser, stated that feedback from Judoka on the course has been extremely positive with comments such as “It’s the best judo course I’d been on for years”, “they’re full kata demo was awesome”.
