Following on from the successful tender of Highland Budokan to host a JudoScotland Grand Prix Event, JudoScotland can confirm a further two successful tenders, Aberdeen Judo Club and Clyde Judo Club.

The Grand Prix Series is just one stage of the JudoScotland development pathway, for both competitor and our volunteer workforce, playing a key role to support individuals as they strive to reach their potential. The series has become an integral part to the JudoScotland events calendar with many of the competitions in the series selling out well before their closing date.

Jean Davidson, from Aberdeen Judo Club said “I think it is important to have such a level of competition in this area not only for the competitors themselves but also for the judokas at the club and also in the area, that are beginners or are not quite at the competitive level, to see the competition and to see what they themselves may be able to achieve.”

We look forward to working with all three clubs from 20218 to ensure the successful delivery of the JudoScotland Grand Prix series.
