Two judoka from Scotland are currently in Tokyo, Japan as part of the GB Futures Camp, now in its third year.

Finlay Allan (-60kg) of Sportif and Ryan Quigley (-73kg) of Hibari Kan joined 10 other GB judoka for this 10 day training camp, which will see them train across a variety of locations in the capital.  Throughout the GB Futures Camp the GB judoka will have the opportunity to work on the fundamentals and technical aspects of their judo with randori sessions, giving the opportunity to put new skills into practice.

This Camp is a key part of the GB Cadet Strategy and is aligned to the Technical Development Framework. This focuses on the helping the athletes to fight with effective technique which they can then transfer into Senior competition.

We hope Finlay, Ryan and JudoScotland Coach, Gary Edwards enjoy their experience in Tokyo!
