There are various ways to be involved in Judo without with competing. Technical officials cover a number of different disciplines to ensure the smooth running of all levels of competition.

To help you on your journey, JudoScotland will be hosting a number of free ‘Introduction to Officiating’ courses this year. These events are at an introductory level aimed at those with no experience in officiating and are unsure of which pathway they would like to take.

Volunteering is an ideal way to get involved in Judo, develop new skills and stay engaged in the sport. By becoming part of the JudoScotland volunteer workforce you can choose which pathway suits you best. Every club needs a good team around them so why not come along to our next Introduction to Officiating course and start your journey.

For more information on these events, please contact paulmcguiness@judoscotland.com or register online through the member zone at www.judoscotland.com .
