Scottish Judoka Qualify for the Special Olympic National Summer Games

Last weekend saw the return of the East of Scotland Physical and Intellectual Annual Disability Judo Open Championships 2017. Now in its ninth year the competition saw 55 competitors from across Scotland compete at this Special Olympic National Summer Games qualifier.

The next Special Olympics Great Britain’s National Summer Games will take place in Sheffield this summer. More than 2,600 athletes are set to compete across 19 different sports to showcase the abilities of children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
