As an organisation, JudoScotland are committed to improving the support offered to its staff, coaches, member clubs, volunteers and individual members in all matters related to Child Wellbeing and Protection.
Working in conjunction with the Head of Business Delivery and working closely and effectively with other staff across the JudoScotland (JS) teams, the Executive will devise, implement and promote appropriate child wellbeing and protection policies, procedures and the revised ‘Standards for Child Wellbeing and Protection in Sport’.
The Safeguarding and Wellbeing Executive will work closely with the Business Delivery Team to: provide relevant advice and information; develop and implement appropriate policies; develop and deliver educational and developmental opportunities; and provide an investigatory service should JudoScotland receive a complaint.
The Safeguarding and Wellbeing Executive will be expected to keep updated with regard to the latest developments within the area, ensure currency with the latest information on data protection, confidentiality and other legal issues that impact on the safeguarding, wellbeing and protection of children, through attendance at appropriate training and development opportunities.
