JUDOSCOTLAND COACHING AUDIT

By now all coaches and clubs should have received a questionnaire as part of the above project. The information gathered from this Audit will help to strategically develop the provision of coach education and development within Scotland. For this reason it is vital that you take advantage of this opportunity to ensure that you and your club are provided with those services of most benefit to your members. If you have not already done so, please complete the questionnaire and return it to the address on the form.

If you have not received your copy please contact Tony Penfold on 0131 333 2981 or tonypenfold@judoscotland.com

BJA COACH CARDS

Would all coaches wishing to gain mat-side access at competitions (and in some cases a discounted entrance fee) please ensure that your BJA Coach Award Card includes a photograph and that you have a recent Enhanced Disclosure Scotland check.

This is becoming standard practice, especially at National events, and will also be adopted by JudoScotland in 2009.

All coaches should be aware of the following points regarding their coach's card:

  • If your card has expired you will no longer hold a valid coach award, therefore you will not be covered by the insurance policy that is included with it
  • The card expires on two occasions:

  • . JudoScotland membership expiry

. 12 months following the last revalidation event attended

If you do not receive a new card on expiry please contact the Coaching & Training Manager at JudoScotland.
