SUMMARY:Mechanics to Mastery
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”538844″] \nTechnical Deconstruction and Physical Preparation for Judo Techniques\nThis course is designed to equip coaches with the skills and knowledge to deconstruct judo techniques into their essential technical and physical components. By understanding each element individually\, coaches can more effectively identify limiting factors in a judoka’s performance and implement targeted development strategies before rebuilding the complete technique. \nThrough a combination of practical application\, movement analysis\, and progressive coaching methods\, participants will learn how to isolate key technical points\, assess physical readiness\, and prescribe appropriate conditioning or skill-based interventions. \nFor example\, a judoka may clearly understand the coaching points for Uchi Mata\, yet lack the ability to maintain stable single-leg balance—a fundamental requirement for the throw. In such cases\, coaches must first address balance\, proprioception\, and lower-limb stability before expecting consistent success in the full technique. \nSimilarly\, when teaching Ippon Seoi Nage\, the tori must be capable of performing a controlled squatting action under load. If this movement pattern is underdeveloped\, the course emphasises the importance of building leg strength\, mobility\, and coordination prior to progressing to full technical execution. \nBy the end of the course\, coaches will be able to: \n\n\nBreak techniques down into manageable\, progressive components \n\n\nIdentify technical\, physical\, and movement-based limitations \n\n\nSelect appropriate drills and conditioning exercises to strengthen each component \n\n\nReintegrate refined elements to improve overall technical performance \n\n\nThis approach ensures that judoka develop both the understanding and the physical capability required to perform techniques safely\, effectively\, and with confidence. \n[/vc_column_text][vc_button button_color=”color-207544″ border_width=”0″ link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fjudoscotland.justgo.com%2FWorkbench%2Fi%2Fr%2FEventsAndBookings%2Fbooking-details%2F756F54C6C3C7311FD7702348F9E0857851D84C7C” button_color_type=”uncode-palette” uncode_shortcode_id=”122194″]Book Your Space[/vc_button][/vc_column][/vc_row]
