We have now added a masters-only section to our JudoScotland Grading on the 23rd of October which is being held at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facilities. Please see the updated details below. \nThe Masters National 1st Kyu and Dan Grading has been created to support the thriving Master Judo Community take the next step on their Judo journey into and through the High Grades. SUMMARY:Club Level Referee Course
DESCRIPTION:This course is Open to all aged over 12 with a minimum green belt. \nAre you looking to upskill yourself with competition rules? Do you want to move through the refereeing pathway? \nThis course is suitable for any judoka over the age of 12 years and they must hold a minimum grade of 12th Mon or 3rd Kyu to attend. \nThe course will start at 10 am and run for approximately 5 hours\, throughout the day there will be comfort and lunch breaks\, it is advised that you bring along lunch with you but there are a few shops nearby that you can use. Parking is located a short walk away at St Enochs car park and there are multiple public transport links as it is situated within Glasgow City Centre. \nThe cost for this course is £15 which is the fee for your BJA exam\, JudoScotland will pay for you to complete the course and upon passing your exam you will be eligible to referee at many events. Make sure to arrive for your allocated registration & weigh-in time:\nAA (born 2012\,2013 & 2014) 8.45-9.15am\nA (born 2010 & 2011) 1.00-1.30pm \nOn The Day\n???? On arrival please follow the JudoScotland signage to the indoor running track where the event will take place. \n???? Cafe: There is a small cafe at the venue\, however\, it can get very busy so we would advise you to bring a snack or packed lunch with you. Every effort will be made to adhere to the competition format\, but changes or combination of weights may be necessary. \n????
