Nage no Kata Course
Our Nage no Kata course will be run by Alex Reid 6th Dan & Paul Laverty 4th Dan who are BJA Kata examiners and previously World Kata finalists. Using their extensive knowledge of Kata they will take you through the course in a way that will provide you with a deeper understanding of the content for you to either develop further yourself or pass on to your students within the club.
Opportunities to obtain a Kata qualification will be discussed on the course and exams will be held within national gradings.
This course is suitable as a coach revalidation event and also for any judoka wishing to improve their understanding of judo principles.

2016 Olympic Champion - Fabio Basile
Rio was the venue for one of the biggest upsets in modern Olympic Judo with relatively unknown judoka Fabio Basile having the day of his dreams.
After winning Gold in the under 66kg category in Rio, Fabio moved up to the 73kg and now chases his dream of being a 2 weight division Olympic Champion.
Fabio has kindly agreed to take time out of his preparations for the upcoming world championships to share his judo with Scottish judoka here in Aberdeen.
The session will have a morning slot for children and an afternoon session for teens and adults. This is not to be missed.
