This course focuses on understanding the basics of a judo contest and the role of the timekeeper and scorer plays during competition judo. \nOn successful completion of the training programme\, candidates will be able to act as JudoScotland timekeepers and scorers at British Judo/JudoScotland events and competitions full support will be given to candidates at events. \nWhat do you need before you can sign up? \n\nBe at least 10 years of age\nGood communication and ‘people skills’\nTraining details\n\nCandidates undergo ‘on the job’ training at a competition in order to become timekeepers/scorers. This course focuses on understanding the basics of a judo contest and the role of the timekeeper and scorer plays during competition judo. \nOn successful completion of the training programme\, candidates will be able to act as JudoScotland timekeepers and scorers at British Judo/JudoScotland events and competitions full support will be given to candidates at events. \nWhat do you need before you can sign up? \n\nBe at least 10 years of age\nGood communication and ‘people skills’\nTraining details\n\nCandidates undergo ‘on the job’ training at a competition in order to become timekeepers/scorers.
