SUMMARY:The Scottish All Stars Championship
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”129359″]The Scottish All Stars Championship focuses on providing a fun experience that appropriately challenges young judoka at this stage in their development. The aim is to maximise the time on the mat whilst introducing more competitive elements of judo. There are many elements to competitive judo that are beneficial to individuals’ development\, from the application of contest rules and the consequence of breaking them to the feeling and coping with ‘pressure’. Most importantly The Scottish All Stars Championship aims to provide positive experiences! \nWe understand that taking the next step outside the club environment can sometimes be daunting for both parent and child and we hope that the information provided in the event outline will help to eliminate some of these pressures.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”178232″]🥋 Before the Event \n\nDouble check your JudoScotland licence is in date\, if it has expired\, you can renew it here.\nMake sure you have packed your bag with your judo kit\, belt\, white t-shirt for wearing under the kit\, water bottle and judo licence.\nDownload the telegram app and join the JudoScotland Notice Board\, to be kept up to date with information on the day.\n\n🥋 What time should I Arrive? \nMake sure to arrive for your allocated registration & weigh-in time: \n\nAA Band (born 2013\,2014 & 2015) – 9.15-9.30am\nA Band (born 2011 & 2012) – 1.00-1.30pm\nB Band (born 2009/2010) – 1.00-1.30pm\n\n🥋 How long can I expect to be here? \nWe have split the day into two sessions (start time as per weigh in times above)\, to limit waiting time. The two sessions are as follows: \n\nMorning AA Band (born 2013/2014/2015).\nAfternoon A Band (born 2011/2012).\nAfternoon B Band (born 2009/2010).\n\nEvery effort will be made to adhere to the competition format and timing\, but changes may be necessary. \n🥋 What do I need to do on the day? \n\nThere is ample free parking at Ravenscraig\, however it tends to get busy on the weekend\, due to the venue being used for football. Please ensure you leave yourself plenty of time to get to the venue for your weigh in time.\nThe changing rooms are located on the ground floor\, please make sure you are changed into your Judogi trousers and a white round next t-shirt ready for registration and weigh in.\nFollow the JudoScotland signage to registration and weigh in\, this is being held in meeting room 1\, which is situated at the far end of the sports facilities. (Follow the corridor straight from reception)\nAt registration your JudoScotland judo licence will be checked\, and your will be given your weigh in card\nYou can also collect your event stamp at registration.\nHead over to the weigh in area to be weighed. There will be 4 sets of scales in use\, you may weight at any set of scales.\nWith registration and weigh in completed head back down the corridor towards reception and follow the JudoScotland signage to the main hall\, (left of the reception) where the event will take place. Find a seat in the main hall and get ready for the competition ahead!\n\n🥋 Other Information   \n\nThere is no spectator fee for this event.\nIf you have pre-order an event T-shirt\, please collect from the JudoScotland desk.\nJudoScotland have a small amount of mechanise on sale\, including our exclusive event plush toy limited number available\, if you would like to commemorate the day.\nCafe: There is a small cafe at the venue\, however\, it can get very busy so we would advise you to bring a snack or packed lunch with you.\n\n🥋 Medal Presentation \n\nMedals will be presented after each category has finished.\nThere will be no “official” podium photography at this event\, parents/carers will have photographic access to the podium area\, however we ask that you are respectful of other parents/carers.\nThis approach is in line with the JudoScotland Player Development Framework.\n\nIn the meantime\, if you have any queries\, please email events@judoscotland.com or call the JudoScotland office on 0131 333 2981.[/vc_column_text][vc_button button_color=”color-574589″ size=”btn-sm” border_width=”0″ uncode_shortcode_id=”185280″ link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.judoscotland.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2023%2F02%2FSAS-Entry-List.pdf|target:_blank” icon=”fa fa-download3″ button_color_type=”uncode-palette”]Entry List[/vc_button][vc_button button_color=”color-207544″ size=”btn-sm” border_width=”0″ uncode_shortcode_id=”188564″ link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.judoscotland.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2023%2F02%2FThe-Scottish-All-Stars-Championship-WEB.pdf|target:_blank” icon=”fa fa-download3″ button_color_type=”uncode-palette”]Event Outline [/vc_button][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image media=”109477″ media_width_percent=”100″ uncode_shortcode_id=”569379″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_empty_space empty_h=”2″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”488393″]This event is aimed at Judoka that have experience at events in the sampling stage and are looking to progress. This is where you will complete Module 1. When using Brightspace this can only be accessed on Chrome /Safari/Firefox browsers. Internet explorer browser is no longer supported. \nCertificates \nOnce you have completed module 1 and attended module 2\, your Tutor will approve the release of your certificate. It will be available to download from your Brightspace portfolio within 24 hours of completing[/vc_column_text][vc_button button_color=”color-207544″ border_width=”0″ link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fjudoscotland.justgo.com%2FWorkbench.mvc%2FShow%2F6%3Fsummary%3Dall” button_color_type=”uncode-palette” uncode_shortcode_id=”139851″]Book Your Space[/vc_button][/vc_column][/vc_row]
