JudoScotland Member Clubs will be aware from previous updates and statements of the further easing of lockdown restrictions as part of the Scottish Government’s ‘route map’ process (Phase 3).

As part of our collective move out of lockdown, I am delighted to provide an update to our recently circulated ‘Return-to-Sport’ (Phase 3) document. Once again, the update(s) to the previous version have been highlighted in yellow for ease of reading/reference.  Please click the link below to view the document.

I believe that the updated document now provides a sound basis on which Member Clubs can now begin to plan for the future, begin to re-engage more fully with their members and begin to take judo activity back out into their local community. Although we are not collectively ‘back in the Dojo’ at this point in time (with sports facilities still closed), I do believe that we are now one step closer to that happening when it is safe to do so.

Against the background of the Covid-19 pandemic, your health and safety and that of your loved ones continues to be the priority and we would urge all JudoScotland Clubs and their members to continue to adhere to the current public health guidance – particularly the new ‘FACTS’ messaging from the Scottish Government (FACT Guidance.pdf).

Yours in Judo
