Prior to attending you will have to complete an online section which we have given you two weeks to complete. Once registration is closed\, all the candidates will be sent a link to our Bright Space platform for you to work through the online modules. \n\nRegister and pay for the course\nBookings will close on the 8th March 2024 at 12 noon\nOnce bookings close\, you will be sent a link to register with Bright Space\nDuring this period you complete the online content\nAttend the course venue in person on the 24th March 2024\n\nPlease note: This event has fully sold out \n\nOur first course of 2024 will be at Ratho on the 24th March 2024 with VIDEO assessment by the 10th of May 2024. Please ensure when signing up for this course you are able to attend all of the dates shown above.  \n\n\n\nThe cost for this course is £125 which will be required to be paid upon booking to secure your space on this course. *This course is supported and part-funded by sportscotland. Please ensure you leave yourself plenty of time to get to the venue for your weigh in time.\n\n\nThe changing rooms are located on the ground floor\, please make sure you are changed into your Judogi trousers and a white round next t-shirt ready for registration and weigh in.\nFollow the JudoScotland signage to registration and weigh in\, this is being held in the corridor outside of the main sports hall.\nAt registration your JudoScotland judo licence will be checked\, and you will be given your weigh in card.\nYou can also collect your event stamp at registration.\nHead over to the weigh in area to be weighed. There will be 4 sets of scales in use\, you may weigh at any set of scales.\nWith registration and weigh in completed head to the main hall\, where the event will take place. All theory assessments will be conducted at the start of the day; this will be followed by a formal welcome with all participants from the theory exam and competitive grading.\nIf you would like to book a place for a theory assessment please do so by ticking the “Theory exam” box. Only by ticking this box will an assessment opportunity be guaranteed.\nThe expected finish time is 4 pm approximately and all participants within the Dan grading MUST make themselves available for contests until the Senior Examiners close the proceedings. DESCRIPTION:BRAND NEW FORMAT \nFor the first time we have a blended learning approach to our coaching system\, so please read on before going ahead and booking the course. Prior to attending you will have to complete an online section which we have given you two weeks to complete. Once registration is closed\, all the candidates will be sent a link to our Bright Space platform for you to work through the online modules. \n\nRegister and pay for the course\nBookings will close on the 25th August 2023 at 12 noon\nOnce bookings close\, you will be sent a link to register with Bright Space\nDuring this period you complete the online content\nAttend the course venue in person on the 9th and 10th of September 2023\n\n\nOur second course of 2022 will be at Cluarankwai Dojo\, Kilmarnock on the 10th of September 2023 with VIDEO assessment by the 20th of October 2023. Please ensure when signing up for this course you are able to attend all of the dates shown above.  \n\n\n\nThe cost for this course is £125 which will be required to be paid upon booking to secure your space on this course. *This course is supported and part-funded by sportscotland. Our primary goal is to empower clubs and individuals to actively engage in refereeing\, ultimately enhancing the overall quality of Judo events. \nBy enrolling in this course\, you’ll not only gain valuable insights from experienced referees but also have the chance to participate in practical sessions. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”946628″]Neil Adams MBE\, double Olympic silver medallist\, World Champion and five time European Champion\, is Britain’s highest decorated athlete of all time\, for his service to Judo and the work he does around the world Neil was awarded the prestigious grade of 9th Dan by the International Judo Federation (IJF).  Neil is the ambassador for the JudoScotland Coaching Academy and has been part of our Gathering several times\, he works tirelessly as ‘The voice of Judo’ on the international competition circuit as a commentator and more relevantly he is also a technical expert and referee supervisor for the IJF. \nThis course is for referees\, coaches and players interested in the most up-to-date interpretations of the rules.
