Performance
Pathways from Academy to Commonwealth & World Class Performance
Our performance pathway supports Scottish judoka from Minors to Seniors, providing development, competition opportunities and a route to Team Scotland, Team GB and ParalympicsGB.
Why Engage in the Pathway
By engaging in the JudoScotland Performance Pathway, you’ll gain access to a comprehensive and supportive training programme, that alongside your club activity, is designed to help you progress on your competitive judo journey. This includes multiple technical judo sessions each week, dedicated strength and conditioning training, and full access to gym facilities to support your physical development. You’ll also be introduced to key areas of high‑performance sport such as anti‑doping education, physical preparation, and performance nutrition. In addition, athletes on the pathway benefit from subsidised JudoScotland performance wear, ensuring you’re equipped both on and off the mat.
