COVID-19 Club Guidance
During this unprecedented time for judo clubs we are utilising this page as a hub for resources that provide support and guidance for clubs during this challenging time. Please remember that the information contained in this hub is for a sporting context, much of which is derived from advice provided by the Scottish Government. Information on Scottish Governments approach to managing Covid-19 is available >>> HERE <<<.
The Scottish Government has launched a strategic approach to tackling the pandemic which has been based on five levels of protection – ‘Tier 0’ to ‘Tier 4’ - each with graduated packages of measures to reduce transmission of the virus.
We would therefore ask JudoScotland member Clubs to please view the “Five Tier Guidance for Judo-in-Scotland” (>>>HERE<<<) which summarises the main points relating to the practice of judo-in-Scotland to confirm the implications for Judo-delivery within your area.
Our ‘Return to Sport’ reference document (>>>HERE<<<) provides wider information, support and acts as a reference resource for a member Club, coach and/or Club COVID Officer around the latest Scottish Government guidance.
You can check your postcode on the Scottish Government website to help you to determine which local COVID protection area you are currently in: https://www.gov.scot/check-local-covid-level/
Club Covid-19 officers should also be aware of the full guidance when planning and risk assessing all activity. A template risk assessment form is available by clicking here >>>RISK ASSESSMENT<<< and a Covid-19 indemnity form is available here >>>INDEMNITY FORM<<>>CLUB DECLARATION FORM<<< which clubs should complete and return to info@judoscotland.com to ensure alignment between club activity and the guidance of the Scottish Government.
