Funding Opportunities
Scottish Sports Aid
Scottish Sports Aid is a charity that provides financial assistance in the form of grant awards to talented sporting youngsters in the 12 to 22-year age range and to disability athletes of various ages who are already competing at national level in their age group and have the potential to represent Scotland at senior level. The finance given is to help the athletes with their travel and training costs, and will hopefully assist them in becoming Scotland’s future sporting stars.
If you are an athlete and wish to know more about how to apply for a Scottish Sports Aid grant, then please refer to the nomination process.
Winning Students
Winning Students is Scotland’s sports scholarship programme supporting students competing in high-performance sport. In member colleges and universities across Scotland, some of the most talented young athletes – including Olympians, Commonwealth competitors and senior internationalists – are combining their studies and their sport. Across core sports and through Individual Scholarships, the scholarships now support more than 150 student-athletes. Please see the website for the nomination process.
