
Child Wellbeing and Protection Officer (CWPO) Training
JudoScotland has identified resource within this year’s budget in order to support clubs to meet the Club Welfare Officer requirements.
From now, until the end of December 2026, Club Welfare Officers within clubs based in Scotland will be able to attend free of charge, however non-attendance will incur a fee of £20.
Launched spring 2019, this workshop replaced ‘In Safe Hands 1 & 2’. The workshop is suitable for individuals responsible for leading their club or organisation in the wellbeing and protection of children and young people. Learners will have the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills to manage concerns through the use of interactive case studies and group work.
Suitable for: Child Wellbeing and Protection Officers or those in a similar role who are aged 18+ yrs.
Prerequisites: Learners must have completed both modules of the Child Wellbeing & Protection in Sport (CWPS).
