Talent Development Performance Pathway
The Talent Development Performance Pathway (TDP) supports the development of technical, physical, and behavioural skills that enhance the judokas likelihood of arriving at a positive destination. Judoka on the TDP squad will have shown their ability to perform at home nation events and will be supported with opportunities to compete internationally and lay a foundation for future success appropriate to their age and stage.
Entry Process
The intake for the TDP programme takes place annually through an application process. The process takes into account competition results through a points matrix as well as a training behaviour assessment. Full details can be found here.
Programme Expectation
Attendance at all Talent Development Programme weekend camps
Min 2 x per month attendance at regional Talent Development Programme sessions.

Subsidised JudoScotland Macron team wear
Subsidised regional physiotherapy access
Weekly regional TDP sessions
6 x TDP domestic weekend camps
Part-subsidised international competition and camp exposure.
