Talent Development Squad
The JudoScotland Talent Development (TD) programme is the first step for many Judoka on the JudoScotland Performance Programme. Aimed at Judoka aged 10 to 15the programme aims to nurture young athletes to achieve their potential through suitable training and competition experiences appropriate for their age and stage.
Entry Process
The intake for the TD programme takes place annually through an application process following the Scottish National Closed Championships. All Scottish National Closed medallists and Top 5 on the Grand Prix Points Table will be invited to apply for the TD Programme.
Programme Expectation
Commitment at Talent Development Programme Sessions.
Continued development through club.

THE JUDOSCOTLAND PLAYER DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK
The JudoScotland Player Development Framework is a guide to turning fun physical activity into sport for life. Developed as part of the wider JudoScotland Blueprint, the framework is designed to support coaches and individuals to achieve their potential within Judo and more widely in sports in general.
