Club Level Referee Course

This course is Open to all aged over 12 with a minimum green belt.
Are you looking to upskill yourself with competition rules? Do you want to move through the refereeing pathway?
This course is suitable for any judoka over the age of 12 years and they must hold a minimum grade of 12th Mon or 3rd Kyu to attend.
The course will start at 10 am and run for approximately 5 hours, throughout the day there will be comfort and lunch breaks, it is advised that you bring along lunch with you but there are a few shops nearby that you can use. Parking is located a short walk away at St Enochs car park and there are multiple public transport links as it is situated within Glasgow City Centre.
The cost for this course is £15 which is the fee for your BJA exam, JudoScotland will pay for you to complete the course and upon passing your exam you will be eligible to referee at many events. When you start on this journey it is important to keep a diary of all the events that you volunteer at as if you attend 6 events per year you will be eligible for a FREE JudoScotland licence.
