Whether you’re a referee, coach, or player, this practical and interactive course is designed to deepen your understanding of the latest rule interpretations in judo. Led by the legendary Neil Adams, this session will explore recent changes in competition rules, using real-world examples from the past year. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable insights into how these updates impact the sport.
About Neil Adams MBE
Neil Adams is one of the most respected figures in the world of judo. A double Olympic silver medallist, World Champion, and five-time European Champion, Neil is the most decorated male judoka in British history. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the sport, he was awarded the prestigious 9th Dan by the International Judo Federation (IJF).
Neil serves as the ambassador for the JudoScotland Coaching Academy and is a familiar face at our annual Gathering. Known globally as “The Voice of Judo”, he brings his expertise to the international stage as a commentator, technical expert, and referee supervisor for the IJF.
This is a CPD event for coaches but open to judoka and referees as well.
