The Scottish Open Judo Tournament & Camp 2027

The Scottish Open Judo Championship is set to make a triumphant return to the sportscotland National Centre in Inverclyde on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th January 2027, marking an exciting start to the new year.
Recognised as the premier judo open in the UK, the event consistently attracts judoka from around the globe, offering a dynamic showcase of skill, strength, and sportsmanship.
Tournament Schedule
The competition will follow a two-day format featuring :
- Saturday: Adapted and VI, Cadets, and Veterans categories
- Sunday: Junior and Senior categories
Camp Schedule
Monday 18th & Tuesday 19th January 2027:
- Morning session 10.00 – 12.00
- Evening session 19.00 – 21.00
Wednesday 20th January 2027:
- Morning session 10.00 – 12.00
Coaching Accreditation
If you are intending to coach matside for the Scottish Open, you must have a coaching pass for the event.
Eligible Scottish coaches can book a coaching pass via JustGo, any other Home Nations or International coaches must email events@judoscotland.com to confirm your coaching qualifications and receive a coaching pass.
As highlighted in ‘Three Steps Safe’ only valid coaches can receive matside accreditation; please do not put staff and volunteers in the difficult position of refusing you matside access without a pass.
Please ensure you have booked your coaching pass by 12pm on Tuesday 12th January.
