JudoScotland is disappointed to confirm that Hannah Wood (-52kg) has withdrawn from the Commonwealth Games to be held in Birmingham later this month due to injury.
Commenting on the news, Judith McCleary, JudoScotland CEO said, “Although this news is disappointing, especially so close to the games, ensuring an athlete’s welfare is always the most important thing. I would like to wish Hannah a speedy recovery and I look forward to seeing what she will achieve in her judo career in the future.”
JudoScotland is working with Commonwealth Games Scotland to confirm a replacement athlete, more details to follow soon.
